Resumen
A constitucionalização do trabalho, como um valor de hierarquia privilegiada no sistema jurídico, por mais que não corresponda à realidade fática de negação do trabalho como necessidade humana, positiva o reconhecimento da centralidade do trabalho para a dignidade humana. Mais que fundamento de um ramo especializado do direito, esse é um valor essencial à própria compreensão antropológica da pessoa, que está no centro do Direito Constitucional. O valor social do trabalho se desvela pela explicitação das relações entre dignidade, necessidades, bens, direitos e valores jurídicos. Esclarecendo-se esse enlace, torna-se mais consistente o esboço das diversas dimensões normativas desse valor constitucional, bem como de suas relações de tensão com o valor da livre iniciativa e a ambivalente afirmação e negação do valor social do trabalho na sociedade capitalista.

Abstract
The constitutionalization of work as a prime hierarchy value in the legal system, however that does not correspond to the objective reality of denial of work as human need, positive the recognition of the centrality of work to human dignity. More than a ground of a specialized branch of the law, this is an essential value to the anthropological understanding of the person who is at the center of the constitutional right. The social value of the work is unvealed by outlining the relationship between dignity, needs, goods, rights and legal values. Clarifying this linkage becomes more consistent the sketch of the various normative dimensions of this constitutional value, as well as their relationship of 42 tension with the value of free enterprise and the ambivalent affirmation and negation of the work value in capitalist society.
